The ferns are back

Spent some time laying on my belly, sitting in the grass, standing over ferns this evening. The shafts of light through my neighbor's trees are always interesting this time of year as the trees aren't so full or so empty. I may frame up a set of these, and maybe some of them I shot last year at this time as well.

Sometimes I wish the seasons repeated themselves more often than once a year. Maybe I should get myself a 2nd home in New Zealand so they can.
